D.K. Lyons is a songwriter, producer, performer, and visual artist blending pop rock with cinematic storytelling. Influenced by artists like The 1975, Tom Petty, Third Eye Blind, Prince, and The Weeknd, the Massachusetts-born, Manhattan-based artist has built a reputation for emotionally honest songwriting, sharp lyrical detail, and immersive visual worlds.
After independently releasing his debut EP Blame My Astrology in 2018, D.K. broke through with his 2020 debut LP The Past (Romanticized), followed by the anthemic 2021 EP Vandalism. From 2022 to 2024,, he expanded his scope with SOPHOMORIC RAMBLING, a double concept album and companion short film that showcased his ambition as both a musician and visual storyteller, earning over 125K Spotify streams across the era.
Raised by a close-knit family of strong women and shaped by the early loss of his father, D.K.’s work often explores love, nostalgia, hope, fear, and human connection through vivid characters and emotionally grounded storytelling.
